Hypocrisy Abounds

The hypocrisy of the Obama Administration knows no bounds.  The latest example comes on the heels of the so-called GOP "War on Women".  While they were accusing the GOP of taking advantage of us wimmen folk, though they were the ones really taking advantage of women, as Katie Pavlich of Townhall found.

On average, full-time working women earn just 77 cents for every dollar a man earns. This substantial gap is more than a statistic -- it has real life consequences. When women, who make up nearly half the workforce, bring home less money each day, it means they have less for the everyday needs of their families, and over a lifetime of work, far less savings for retirement.

The gender wage gap puts women at a career-long disadvantage

President Obama supports passage of the Paycheck Fairness Act, which Congress puts to a vote on June 5. This comprehensive and commonsense bill updates and strengthens the Equal Pay Act of 1963, which made it illegal for employers to pay unequal wages to men and women who perform substantially equal work.

What makes the whole story so rich is the comical retro-50's look cartoons from the White House.gov website.  Apparently just like on Saturday morning, the most important issues of the day can ONLY be fixed by Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, Velma, Freddy and Daphne!

But I think that their cartoon graphic needs a tiny tweak.  They need to change the banner graphic to read - Women earn just $.82 cents for every dollar earned...WORKING IN THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION!

I want to know, does the White House support equal pay for women? Funny, did you know that women working in the White House get paid less than men?

Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

Calculating the median salary for each gender required some assumptions to be made based on the employee names. When unclear, every effort was taken to determine the appropriate gender.

Apparently, we can interchange the "H" in President Obama's middle name for HYPOCRITE because that is exactly what he is...a world class hypocrite.
